If so, we’ve got the opportunity for you! We’re looking to train our next group of Cyber Security Consultants!

As a cyber security consultant, your primary responsibility will be performing web application ethical hacks against our client’s applications. You may also be involved in other types of ethical hacking, threat modeling, risk assessments, and internal project development.

Candidates at a minimum will have:

• Strong passion and proven track record for picking up new technologies.
• Solid Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience writing at least 1000 lines of code in one of the following programming languages: NodeJS, Java, PHP, .NET, Python, Perl.
• Knowledge of SQL queries in one of the following databases: MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle
• Ability to systematically and logically work through a problem.
• Availability to work full-time.

Strong Candidates will have a:

• Working knowledge of the OWASP Top 10.
• Experience writing at least 1,000 lines of code in one of the following programming languages: NodeJS, Java, PHP, .NET, Python, Perl.
• Ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Mastery of technical writing.
• A tenacity to dig into a problem until a solution is found.

As a cyber security intern you will be working in the web application area of our business. We’ll put you through our web application security training material and have you programming internal projects. Depending on your skill level and ongoing projects; you may also have the opportunity to contribute to security assessments.

Candidates at a minimum will have a:

• Strong passion and proven track record for picking up new technologies.
• Basic Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Class, work, or personal experience in one of the following programming languages: Java, PHP, .NET, Python, Perl.
• Class, work or personal experience writing SQL queries for one of the following databases: MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle
• Ability to systematically and logically work through a problem.
• Availability to work 15-20+ hrs a week through the current semester.

Strong Candidates will have a:

• Firm understanding of the HTTP protocol.
• Written over 1000 lines of code in Java.
• Working knowledge of the OWASP Top 10.
• Ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Mastery of technical writing.
• Have Exposure to Angular & Node development.

Preference will be given to candidates who:

• Are local to the Sarasota, FL Area.
• Graduate in the Current year.
• Have prior work experience.

All candidates must be able to be local in Sarasota, FL during the entirety of the internship.

Do you know the OWASP Top 10 by heart, could explain CSRF in your sleep, and enjoy both coding and poking holes in other people’s code? If so, we’d love you to join our team. We’re looking for both experienced Cyber Security Consultants and Senior Cyber Security Consultants to conduct and lead Web Application and Network Penetration tests. You may also be involved in threat modeling, risk assessments, security engineering, internal tool development or any other service our organization offers.

Candidates at a minimum will have:

• Strong passion and proven track record for picking up new technologies.
• Solid Knowledge of Web Technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc).
• One or more years of experience Performing Ethical Hacking Engagements.
• Knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and common remediation techniques.
• Experience writing at least 500 lines of code in one of the following programming languages: NodeJS, Java, PHP, .NET, Python, Perl.
• Knowledge of SQL queries in one of the following databases: MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle
• Ability to systematically and logically work through a problem.
• Working knowledge of PortSwigger’s BurpSuite, IBM Appscan, or similar tools.

Senior Cyber Security Consultant candidates should have:

• One or more years of experience leading teams of individuals performing Ethical Hacking related assessments.
• Proven track record of positively managing client relationships.
• The ability to apply and customize remediation advice to unique customer situations.

Additional desired characteristics:

• Industry recognized certifications such as GWAPT, OSCP, CISSP, GPEN.
• Proven track record of working independently from home.
• A Can-Do Attitude with a high attention to detail.

Experienced candidates are welcomed across the United States, but a preference will be given to candidates who reside in or near Sarasota, FL.
